HIGH QUALITY, REGIONAL & HOMEMADE
DELICIOUS FOOD IN A
MARVELLOUS SETTING
In our kitchen, we are very focused on using mainly regional products.
Whenever possible, we also use products from our own organic farm.
With simple ingredients, we create hearty, sometimes also modern interpretations
of traditional dishes, as well as Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
A MORNING IN PADAUN
BEGINS WITH A
WIPPTAL
MOUNTAIN BREAKFAST
The day always begins with a delicious breakfast for our guests.
Of course, our main focus here is also on the use of high-quality food. For example: fresh farm butter, homemade farmhouse bread, herbal tea from the region, organic eggs from the neighbouring farm, etc. We source most of our products from regional farmers in Tyrol – ideally from the Wipptal valley.

A craving for sweets
There are many culinary highlights in Austria. What particularly captivates us are the various types of desserts you`ll get around here. Whether a cake in the shape of a Gugelhupf according to grandma’s recipe, a heavenly “Kaiserschmarren”, which kind of looks like a giant pancake, it`s really really and tasty and comes with raisins and cranberry jam, or our wonderfully fragrant fluffy “Buchteln”, those are yeast dumplings, they are filled with different kind of jams and come with vanilla sauce. We can’t get enough of them.
SAVOURY AND DELICIOUS
You can enjoy some of our classics such as our tasty “Kaspressknödel”, cheese dumplings, or our homemade “Schlutzkrapfen”, a sort of filled pasta envelopes, all year round. For us, a conscious approach to food is very important, which is why not all of our dishes are available daily. As we mostly produce our own meat, certain meat dishes, such as goulash or veal schnitzel, are only available when we have recently slaughtered. Some dishes – such as game – are also seasonal.
