HIGH-QUALITY, REGIONAL & HOMEMADE
ENJOY DELICIOUS FOOD IN
A BREATHTAKING SETTING
At our kitchen, we focus on using mainly regional ingredients. Wherever possible, we also include products from our own organic farm. With simple, high-quality ingredients, we create hearty traditional dishes, some with a modern twist, as well as Mediterranean-inspired specialties.

A MORNING IN PADAUN
STARTS WITH A
WIPPTAL MOUNTAIN BREAKFAST
For our guests, the day begins with a delicious breakfast. We place great focus on high-quality ingredients, including fresh farm butter, homemade farmhouse bread, herbal teas from the region, and organic eggs from nearby farms. Most of our ingredients come from regional producers in Tyrol, ideally from the Wipptal valley itself.

IN THE MOOD FOR SOMETHING SWEET
Austria is famous for its pastries, and we simply can’t get enough! From a tasty Gugelhupf which is a classic bundt cake, baked to grandma’s traditional recipe, to fluffy Kaiserschmarren (a shredded pancake served with raisins and apple or cranberry sauce), or soft – pillowy “Buchteln” (yeast dumplings filled with jam and served with vanilla sauce), well as you can tell our homemade desserts are a true delight for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Hearty & delicious
Some of our classics, like the flavorful Kaspressknödel (cheese dumplings) or our homemade Schlutzkrapfen (half-moon pasta pockets which may be filled with curd, spinach and other seasonal ingredients), can be enjoyed all year round. We take a mindful approach to food, which means not every dish is available every day. Much of our meat comes from our own farm, so specialties like goulash or veal schnitzel are only served when freshly prepared. Other dishes, such as wild game — appear on the menu depending on the time of year.
