Dark green forests, blooming meadows in spring and summer – and in winter, a landscape wrapped in soft white. This view is is a delight in every season and simply good for the soul. Our double rooms are furnished with wooden floors and tasteful furniture with a touch of Alpine charm. Naturally, each room has its own private bathroom with shower and toilet.

Depending on availability, our double rooms can also be booked as single rooms.

We love welcoming our youngest guests to Berggasthof Steckholzer. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we provide a crib / baby cot, children’s bed, and high chair free of charge upon request. We also offer selected children’s meals on our menu.

Around our mountain inn, there’s also plenty for the little ones to explore. Our farm with all its animals usually amazes children. In every season, there’s space to run and play. Snowball fights, build snowmen, go sledding or zip-bobbing in winter and playing games like tag, collect pinecones, explore the forest, hike barefoot, etc in the summer. A small playground with sandbox is also available.

If you like, you can book your stay with a hearty Wipptal mountain breakfast, a generous buffet featuring homemade and regional specialties to start your day perfectly.

Prefer a relaxed holiday without cooking? Feel free to book our half board option.

At our mountain inn, we offer a small but delightful menu, with a variety of traditional and Mediterranean-inspired dishes, both with and without meat.

In the afternoon, enjoy a hot cup of coffee and a slice of homemade cake.

If you have dietary restrictions or follow a vegetarian diet, please let us know in advance.

Gluten-free options are available on request.
